No one cares that you have a family to feed.
No one cares that you have rent to pay.
No one cares about your student loan debt.
If you’re on the side of the road with a flat tire, no one will stop. They might even drive through the puddle next to you intentionally.
No one cares that you’re stressed. No one cares that you didn’t get enough sleep last night. Or that your father is sick.
No one cares “what you’ve been through.” No one cares about your past.
Weakness is like blood in the water for a shark.
If you fall to your knees you will be used as a stepladder.
People care about value. You are not value. People care about their bank account and metrics that influence their success and happiness. They don’t care about your bank account and you are not one of those metrics.
Create value for yourself by creating value for others.
Help other people…and people will help you. Don’t help other people…and no one will help you.
No one cares that you’re smart. No one cares that you can.
No one cares about your book idea. Write it. No one cares about your startup. Build it.
Stop waiting for someone to put you on. No one is going to give you anything. Go out and take it.
No one will care if you fail. No one will pick you back up.
No one will care if you win. No one will pat you on the back.
No One Cares About You. Accept it. Learn to love it. Create value for yourself. Because no one else will.
If you want a raise, ask for it. If you want more responsibility, take it. If you want something done, do it.
If you want something, create it.
